Shipwrecked on the Island of Skree is the first book in The Jungle of Utt series of adventure stories. This book tells how Barnaby, a young adventurer, gets lost in a storm and is shipwrecked on the mystical Island of Skree that is just a dot on the map in the Sassaway Sea. With his boat wrecked in the gale, Barnaby starts to explore the island. He meets many wonderful animal characters who are different and new - like The Llamas in Purple Pajamas, Walter the Whale, The Pelican who delivers the mail, Old Jeremiah the Elephant, Gerald the Giraffe and many more. We discover how Barnaby becomes the Mayor of The Jungle of Utt and of the things he and his new found friends build and the adventures they share.
